August Craft designs & manufactures hand embroideries exclusively for RTW bridal and designer wear brands. Our clientele comprises the RTW lines of several international design houses like Dice Kayak, Elie Saab, Naeem Khan, Milady Bridals, Anne Barge, JLM Brands and many others who have relied on us for many years to develop and produce embroideries for them.

Exceptional Design & Merchandising Capability

Our office, design studio and factories are based in Mumbai, India. Besides our team of designers, merchandisers and commercial artists, we employ nearly 300 artisans that are working in our factories at any given time. Because of our strictness with quality, deadlines and budgets, very often we are called upon by our clients to take over production where budgets were deemed too low or deadlines too tight.

August Craft is owned and managed by its 3 Managing Partners all of whom have had successful careers in design, law & finance and have two decades of experience in the hand embroidery business. The three Partners are supported by a business head that manages an exceptional team of designers, merchandisers, commercial artists and artisans.

Wide product range to cater all kinds of embroidery requirements

We manufacture embroidered lace, trims, appliques, badges & motifs and have the competence to engineer these products on the client’s patterns for RTW garments, shoes, bags and costume jewelry.

Due to our couture parentage, we reinvest a very high percentage of our revenues into design. Our design team hand-picks the best artisans from the country to create new embroidery samples employing directions from our clients and experimenting with new techniques and materials. Because of year-round sampling our clients always see something fresh when they visit our showroom in Mumbai or at Premiere Vision, Paris.
